Absolutely. My program is specifically designed for people who are just starting their fitness journey. After facing my own setbacks and having to restart, I understand the challenges of beginning from square one. We’ll start exactly where you are, with movements and intensity levels that build your confidence rather than overwhelming you.

I’ve tried personal training before and felt intimidated. How is your approach different?

My own journey of recovery and recommitment to fitness has given me a unique perspective on what beginning or restarting feels like. I create a judgment-free environment where questions are welcomed, struggles are normalized, and progress is celebrated at every stage. You’ll never be pushed beyond what’s appropriate for your current level or made to feel inadequate.

How long until I see results?

Most clients notice improvements in energy, mood, and daily function within the first few weeks. Physical changes typically become noticeable after 6-8 weeks of consistent training. However, I encourage focusing on non-scale victories like climbing stairs more easily, sleeping better, or having more energy for daily activities. These meaningful improvements often precede visible changes.

I have old injuries/health conditions. Can I still train with you?

Yes. Having navigated my own recovery from injuries and surgeries, I’m experienced in adapting exercises for various conditions. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your health history in detail, and I may request physician clearance for certain conditions. Your program will be designed with these considerations as a priority.

What’s the difference between virtual and in-person training?

Both options provide the same level of personalized attention and program design. In-person sessions in Costa Mesa offer hands-on form correction and access to more equipment varieties. What happens during the free consultation call?

This 30-minute call is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your fitness history, current lifestyle, goals, and any concerns you might have. You’ll learn about my approach and have the opportunity to ask questions.
